We have been here for a few days. And it is quite enjoyable. My place is nice and my room is still clean. These are the only pictures I have taken and they are from the saturday market. They have music, food, crafts and a farmers market. and cute kids everywhere. this boy is one of them. he was very well dressed and was also trying to catch the water falling off of the tent dad and i stood under in his mouth. it was pretty fantastic but unfortunately did not get documentation. but you get a taste of his outfit.
I have learned a few things though about oregon:you do not pump your own gas here. i am not sure how i feel about that. Oregon is one of 2 states that do this, Rhode Island is the other.
Recycle your cans and bottles at the grocery to get 5 cents/bottle back.
I have to get used to new brand names: best foods=helmans and fred meyers=kroger. i think there were some others. but i forget.
